Red Rackstuds: 2.2mm

The original Red Rackstuds are the most common and will accommodate around 80% of the racks in the market.

They’ll work with vertical rails meeting the following specifications:

  • Hole Size: EIA-310 Requirement 9.5mm/0.374″
  • Rackstuds Red 2.2: 9.3 – 9.89mm (0.366 – 0.389″)
  • Rail Thickness: EIA-310 Requirement: Not defined
  • Rackstuds Red 2.2: ≤ 2.2mm/0.086″ (or 14 gauge)

Purple Rackstuds: 2.7 - 3.2mm

The Purple Rackstuds are designed for thicker rails and accommodate specialised rack configurations in the market. They'll work with vertical rails meeting the following specifications:

  • Hole Size: EIA-310 Requirement 9.5mm/0.374″
  • Rackstuds Purple Series II: 9.3 – 9.89mm (0.366 – 0.389″)
  • Rail Thickness: EIA-310 Requirement: Not defined
  • Rackstuds Purple Series II: 2.7 – 3.2mm (0.106 – 0.125″)
